“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
We believe it is the mission of the Christian church to be of assistance to it’s community first and then to the world. In our community, we support local mission and assistance organizations such as; DOC-UP (Dalton Organization of Church United for People), Providence Ministires, and the Dalton / Whitfield HUD Emergency Repair Program.

We operate a food pantry on-site and offer financial assistance toward living expenses for persons in need.

We also support and participate in mission efforts outside our immediate community.

These include annual church-building trips to Mexico, semi-annual service projects with Hands of Hope in West Virginia, and disaster relief efforts as needed.
In addition, we financially support the mission agencies of the United Methodist Church and several other full-time missionaries around the world:

Christopher & Rita Mohan – India
Ron & Michelle Smith – Bulgaria
Gerald & Clara Brown – Mexico
Dean & Gail Davis – Ecuador
Michelle Walker – Youth With a Mission
Vaneida White – Paraguay
Arthur & May Alice Ivey – Peru
Rev. Esaho & Beatrice Kipuke – France
Sheree Firth – Russia
